As I post for one last time this year, I want to share a valuable lesson I’ve learned – consistency is tough! But ultimately rewarding.
Reflecting on the past year, I made mental notes to excel in various areas of my life. While I succeeded in some, I faced challenges with consistency in others. It’s important to acknowledge that success doesn’t mean never slipping up; it lies in not giving up.
Take, for instance, my goal to complete a “study my Bible in one year” plan. Life threw me a curveball, and there was a period when I couldn’t stick to my schedule. When I finally had the opportunity to catch up, I felt discouraged because I was behind. At that crossroads, I had two options: give up or forge ahead.
I chose the latter.
I picked up my plan, allocated more time, and caught up. The lesson here is simple but profound – never give up on chasing your goals. Life is full of twists and turns, but it’s our commitment to perseverance that defines our journey.
